Somewhere along the line I became a sandwich snob.

No peanut butter and grape jelly on white bread for me.

At this stage of my life it’s gotta be almond butter, sliced bananas, and apricot preserves on multi-grain bread.

Thanks to a commissary run this morning, this will be my daily lunch this week.

Could you eat something like this for five days in a row?

Today is Monochrome Monday.

Monochrome Monday

Silhouettes and Spotlights

Hi, welcome to the 7th collaborative edition of Monochrome Monday. Each week we’ll share a few B&W images from Todd and some of his photographer friends here on Substack…

This publication is only a couple of months old, but every week it gains a few more subscribers, a few more shares, and a few more views. What’s impressed me most is that even at this early stage, where there’s not a lot of immediate “pay off” for doing so, some talented photographers have been willing to take a few minutes out of their day to fill out the submission form to share an image or two, and the story that goes with it. (Thanks if this describes you!)

Let’s talk about the weather …

Fall (my favorite season!) has finally arrived here in southeast Arizona. 😎

It’s going to be hoodie or quarter-zip weather in the morning, then shorts & a t-shirt by afternoon for the rest of this week. First thing this morning we did still get a little reminder of all the rain that happened over the weekend though …
