People have such a thing about the DMV (usually justified in most places). We just a had a laugh the other day about how a little business in our town called Gingers that replicates most of the functions of the DMV but for an additional fee even stays in business. As I said in the post, ours has always been a pretty quick "in and out" with little hassle experience. But living in a military town, I suspect a lot of new residents never even find that out.
