Thanks Chris … yes, that was a fun trip with a lot of “nice surprises”. It started with discovering that I could get a room at the Coronado/North Island Navy Lodge (right on the beach) for $135 a night. Combine that with Kelly’s request to have fresh crab legs on her birthday and that road trip became a no brainer.
