Snowcapped Huachuca Peak

You wouldn’t think that 600mm lens would be good for landscape photography. But when the mountains are about 3 miles away, it can work out pretty nicely.
In this image, I like the way the pine trees against the snow look a little soft in places. Obviously we don’t have the level of snow and cold that most of the rest of the country is seeing right now. But I like how at least for now, this is how our mountains are supposed to look in late January.
