It’s tough that optimism tends to be hardest at exactly the times when we need it most.
Thanks, Todd: I needed this. (As well as the link to Michael Vörös.) You already bring a lot of optimism to my days; and strike me as an optimistic person… – the way you frame it is here, though, is particularly wonderful!

lol, and yes, I consider myself an optimistic person. But that doesn’t always mean I’m a “positive” or happy person in the moment sometimes. 🙃
Nobody can be, I am sure: but – from what comes across on here – you do better than many!
Oh, I’m a bit more grumpy in “real life”. But I do absolutely grasp on to the “everything will be okay” idea when things get a little too dark.
Hindsight is always better than foresight.
